Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospice
Tŷ Gobaith is the sister hospice to Hope House and together we provide specialist nursing care in addition to practical and emotional support to life threatened & life limited babies, children and young people in your local area.
Bereavement and counselling support is offered to families who use the hospices and to members of the community.
Recently Tŷ Gobaith appointed a NeoNatal Nurse and a counsellor to be based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Glan Clwyd and Maelor, sitting beside families with life threatened babies in SCBU or following a still birth with support either at the hospital or bringing all the family to the hospice.
All the services are free of charge but It costs £1.2 million a year for the survival of Tŷ Gobaith, just 17% comes from statutory bodies.
Birthdays are especially important for life limited children – with £30 we can arrange memorable birthday treats and presents that mean so much to the child and their family.
Pays for a day's meals and refreshments for children and families at Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith. We provide home cooked food as well as specialised diets for the children who need them.
